Expect 60 to 80 percent of the claimed number in normal riding. Box claims assume a roughly 165 lb rider, flat ground, warm weather and the scooter's slowest eco speed setting, which almost nobody actually rides at. Check the battery's Wh rating directly if the listing states it, rather than relying on the claimed mileage alone, since claimed mileage is usually measured at the slowest speed setting. Bigger batteries also mean longer charging times: a stock 42V 2A (84W) charger takes a little over 4 hours for a 281 Wh pack and about 7.5 hours for a 551 Wh pack, so factor charging time into how a long-range scooter fits your routine, not just the range figure itself.
